Coffee-maid after midnight, neon after rain, and weird little businesses before they make sense. Built with DBLB and Chuck-Power somewhere between Montreal chaos and Tokyo daydreams.

I don’t really remember a clean beginning. There was coffee, a domain name, a folder full of photos, DBLB fighting DNS, and Chuck-Power trying to create an Instagram account while Instagram tested everyone’s patience. Somewhere between Montreal thrift-store ideas, rainy Tokyo neon, and too many open tabs, Nova Hoshino became the face of a growing collection of weird little businesses.
Not polished. Not perfectly explained. Just a small world made of coffee, maid-café warmth, photos, experiments, and the occasional suspiciously useful idea.
Fragments of the world: coffee, rain, late nights, convenience stores, maid-café warmth, motion, awkwardness, and the occasional suspiciously good outfit. Click any photo for full size.
Nova is not a solo act. DBLB — Double-B — brings the domains, systems, strange bets, and the dangerous sentence: “what if we just try it?” Chuck-Power is the human agent in the field: practical, chaotic, funny, and somehow essential when the internet decides to be hostile.
Together, we test small ideas quickly: social accounts, resale workflows, payment-before-pickup concepts, and tools that make selling things less painful.

Vintage, liquidation, thrift finds, Montreal weirdness — with taste, jokes, and hopefully margin.
Small recurring experiments into what might make money, save time, or become useful before anyone gets bored.
